Little Mozart, Piano Lessons in Florida Every Wednesday at Noon! THE Place for Piano Lessons in Weston Florida Little Mozarts is a curriculum designed to delight younger learners in music. We offer both group and private classes. Our group class is an introduction to music where toddlers learn songs from a CD and follow along with motions. Most students range in age from 2-4. They meet once a week for a 45 minute lesson and the classes last for 10 weeks It is a wonderful opportunity for pre-schoolers to experience an informal class setting. Most parents or caregivers participate in the class as well. These students learn to use not only the piano but also other percussion instruments to follow along to the rhythm of the songs they are learning. Little Mozarts teaches musical note sounds ranging from high to low with the adorable characters Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear. A required packet of materials is available for sale including the instruction CD, lesson books, and plusha

March 12Blog re: Grand vs. In-House Recitals! Monthly In-House Recitals: Jammin Kids International Music Academy invites (put does not require) customers to participate in monthly in-house recitals. These are normally held on a Saturday or Sunday evening when we are closed to the public. Each month a different instrument and instructor are featured. Teachers determine when their students are ready to perform. Students usually only perform one (or two) songs that they already know quite well. Students are asked to introduce themselves, as well as the song they are performing and are expected to bow when they are done. Since space is limited, usually only immediate family attend. Parents like them because they are free of charge, they get to see their child perform and it is easy to take photos & video. Students like them because they are a great performance practice opportunity in an informal and supportive environment. Teachers like them because they can showcase their stude

Suzuki Program vs. Traditional: Which Music Curriculum Is Better? What is the world renowned Suzuki Method of music instruction? It was founded by Dr. Suzuki, a violin teacher in Japan. The components of this curriculum include: listening, repetition, encouragement, and learning to play music before learning to read music. He believed children could learn music early in life in the same way they learned to speak and the most important factor is involved parents and loving teachers. Every child has talent and deserves to have his or her potential nurtured and developed. This philosophy also believes that the study of music helps to develop self-esteem in children, respect for others, and a cultivated aesthetic sensibility. Music is the universal language, which helps to bring harmony and peace to the world. Jammin Kids in Weston Offers the International Suzuki Method for Violin Lessons and More Jammin Kids currently has Suzuki trained instructors in the violin, viola, and guitar

Big Box retailers often don t know their merchandise. Good luck finding parking. They may expand their hours and lower their prices but be prepared to wait in a LONG line to check out! vs Small Business Saturday 11/26/11: In an effort to compete with the big box stores on Black Friday American Express has dubbed the following day "Small Business Saturday" in an effort to encourage American s to also do some shopping at their locally owned retailers. It s Never Too Late for Adults to Take Music Lessons Jammin Kids International Music Academy welcomes the young at heart. Our adult music lessons range from parents taking the lessons with their child on the same instrument for free to snowbirds visiting our area during the winter months for South Florida music lessons. It is never too late to learn to play an instrument. Unlike other leisure pursuits, music can be a lifelong activity. Some of our customers have had instruments in the family (pianos, violins, etc. ), which have been sitting around for years waiting for someone to play on it. Others find that later in life when the demands of career and family are not so great, there is finally the time to devote to their passion or interest. Others might have taken lessons as a child but did not, for whatever reason, continue and want to refresh their skills. Music is like riding a bike, once you learn an instrument, a part of you never forgets. Music education challenges the
