The majority of gay venues and nightlife on the Costa del Sol is concentrated within Nogalera area - the gay village of Torremolinos. Here you will find more than 30 gay lesbian bars and clubs within 3 min walk. Especially recommended are bar El Gato: a stylish gay bar on two floors, the most popular hang-out for gay crowd for a first drink before clubbing. El Gato is open from 7 p.m. until 2 a.m. and then later on week-ends. Another recommended gay place is Parthenon gay club which is getting busy after 2a.m. It is a stylish music club, just 100m from El Gato bar, both are within gay village of Nogalera area. Many bars are only open on week-ends in the winter months. Both El Gato and Parthenon are open every night. Torremolinos attracts a very big gay crowd on week-ends as there is virtually nothing in Marbella, Benalmadena or Fuengirola. Mlaga
