General Description The ECS Ejector -AutomaticAir Vent (EAAV) provides automatic venting of trapped air in wet pipe fire sprinkler systems. As a fire sprinkler system is filled with water, trapped air migrates to the high point of the system where the air vent valve is designed to be located. This allows for the trapped air to be released through the open vent. The air vent valve will automatically close when water reaches the vent. The ECS Ejector Automatic Air Vent (EAAV) must be installed as shown on the engineering design documents, if a location is not shown install the ECS Ejector - Automatic Air Vent

General Description The ECS Inspector is a Corrosion Monitoring Station (CMS) designed to be installed on the system riser or on a main connected to the riser to monitor internal corrosion activity in a water-based fire protection system (FPS). Each FPS system must be monitored with a CMS such that any system activity such as draining and refilling is also experienced by the corrosion monitoring station. In buildings where more than one FPS is supplied from a common riser a CMS must be installed on the system side of the control valve on each of the individual systems. This will normally require the CMS to be connected to a main of the FPS. The ECS Inspector is designed to simulate conditions where internal corrosion may develop within the system. The ECS Inspector can be isolated from the system riser or main and easily accessed for servicing and monitoring of test specimens, (corrosion coupons or corrosion monitoring probes) without taking the fire protection system out of servi

ORDERING INFORMATION PROTECTOR CABINET DIMENSIONS Carefully read and follow the instructions and procedures provided in this document and referenced documents. Failure to do so will inhibit ECS Protector’s ability to prevent corrosion activity from occuring within the fire sprinkler system. General Description The ECS Protector-Nitrogen Generation System (PNGS-12 or PNGS-7) is an on-site nitrogen generation system that is designed to be installed inline between the compressed air supply and the system riser in dry or preaction fire protection systems. The ECS Protector-Nitrogen Generation System can be used with a facility air supply source or with a dedicated stand-alone air compressor. The ECS Protector-Nitrogen Generation System uses a series of in-line filters and a hollow membrane separator to partition the compressed supply air into two streams, one that is rich in nitrogen and the other that is rich in oxygen. The nitrogen rich stream that is produced by the ECS Protector-N
