On the surface, it’s quite an attractive term, given our raised consciousness on consumption and reuse (plus of course a need to stretch a diminishing budget!). However, it is often used as a precursor to simply describing a way to delivering the same message using a different format. Now of course, that in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, often the learning medium is not a good match for the desired learning outcome .
