We at Canyonview certainly hope that your 2012 is off to a great start.
We hope you are looking ahead for a good year.
As we plan for summer, we need to look ahead into 2012.

We hope you are looking ahead for a good year. As we plan for summer, we need to look ahead into 2012. What kinds of projects and improvements need to be done? What kind of staff team members are we looking to hire? As a staff, we talk about looking ahead at a 10-year plan for ministry and grounds improvements. Our central sewer system is in that plan, and it is crawling ahead. That’s a long way off, but someone needs to keep the binoculars focused so that dream eventually becomes a reality by God’s grace. At the same time, as a staff, we also need to look ahead 10 months. That will take us through the summer ministry. Some of us need to concentrate on things like brochures, fliers, camp themes, camp activities, camp Bible studies, camp horses, grounds improvements, website,

Monday - One note to brighten our day:Tad’s friend,Marty,who had just donated two
weeks of labor at the camp, was coming with two friends and chainsaws to help cut us
out! Monday saw more damage occur as more trees split
before others could be cleaned up.

Monday - One note to brighten our day:Tad’s friend,Marty,who had just donated two weeks of labor at the camp, was coming with two friends and chainsaws to help cut us out! Monday saw more damage occur as more trees split before others could be cleaned up. The horses still needed to be fed and watered and the freezers full of food would need to be electrified if we were to keep the losses down. I figured we had some time on the freezers because it was so cold outside. Tad’s friends did indeed show up with some very big chainsaws and the skills to use them. We metTodd and James, who came with Marty, and got to work!
