M3i zero installation is not same as R4 card. The package has an extra wire for flashing the firmware. But the installation method is also short and easy. When you get a new M3i Zero card, it is in a dead status, meaning you have to flash the firmware to use it. The process is not hard. All you need to do is download the M3i zero kernel to computer, unzip the patch, and copy the f_core. dat file to the root directory of your microSD card. Then insert the SD card into the M3i Zero, connect the flashing cable to the M3i zero, and the other end to a USB port. You will see a red light flashing and when it stopped, the M3i Zero setup finished. Two OS can be loaded to M3i Zero, either the old Touchpad OS or the recently released M3Sakura. If you want to get game fixes earlier, the better choice would be Touchpad.
