Big plans are under way for the development of the Communal building and here at The Bradford Student we’re giving you a sneak peak at what’s coming up. As part of the 2009+ redevelopment, the building will see a roof added to the building; the installation of a health bar; and a more open-plan attitude to student help, advice and activity. But what’s happening to all the services over the next year whilst the building is out of action? The two remaining buildings of Kirkstone Halls will house the LDU, counselling and job shop in the one nearest the Communal Building, whilst the UBU will be in the second.
