Case Studies One of the working children (12) Hafeez Butt is the younger student of our stitching Training unit. He belongs to a poor family. He has 7 brother and sisters. He is orphan child living with his grandparents. He is very hard working and has neatness in his hand while stitching. He is fond of learning stitching. In morning he is getting primary education in CLARA primary school for working children. In the evening he comes to learn stitching. He is efficient in plain singer stitch. He can also operate over lock and know all the parts of machines. He wants to become a helping hand for his family. CLARA is paying special heed to this deserving orphan child. Our priority is that he should first complete his primary education. May he become successful in his efforts in the long run.

But when they heard that an organization is giving separate classes for girls in stitching they agreed to send her to learn stitching. She is very talented and coming regularly to take classes. In future she wants to help her family by earning money through stitching of ladies, gents & children clothes at home. She has planned that after getting training she could easily earn Euro 130 – 150 per month. N. B. In Pakistan the female tailor sitting at home can easily stitch 3-4 suits on simple machine with motor. They charge Rs. 200-
