The students followed the excavation techniques and data analyses program which ran in parallel with the conservation and cultural heritage management program. 25 students from different universities such as Tirana, Gjirokastra, Elbasani, Skopje, Pristine, Thessalonica, Milan, Oxford, Kalamazoo, Chicago, Bari, American University of Rome, Athens and Vienna participated in the only international archaeological summer school inAlbania. One of the papers tittled: “Ongoing development of the National Sites and Monuments recording system in Albania” was presented in the session on Databases and Information Management. This book, written by Ardit Miti and Eglantina Serjani, was very well received by the audience, specialists in archaeology, history and cultural heritage, and also by the wider public and media representatives. There was a lot of media coverage in the written press (Koha ditore, Lajmi, Express newspapers), as well as in Kosovo Tv channels.
