A big thanks to Sarah (and Hajo), for organising a very successful and enjoyable trip to South Africa. Also, thanks to Paul for the Red Sea Liveaboard trip, Brian and Paul for organising the various weekend dives, plus Steve, Hajo,Alan and Chris for various training sessions and dives from the ribs. Lastly, thanks to all who came down to Hayling Island for the club picnic and to those who helped to make it a success. As you will be aware from various e-mails, Steve and Hajo have organised a number of poolside sessions onThursday evenings

Well, it’s now 2008 and we can look forward to the NewYear and plenty of diving. Paul and Brian have put together a varied and interesting dive programme to cater for all levels of divers in a variety of locations in the UK. For those who want to get away further, Paul has booked a Red Sea live aboard in May and a long weekend trip to Malta in November. In addition, there is a trip to South Africa organised by Sarah, also in May. This does not include the RIB, which you are encouraged to use. We are now just over half way through the year and we have had plenty of diving to date, this includes the live-aboard trip to the Red Sea, the UK dive schedule, RIB diving using our own RIB plus training dives in various locations. I’m sure the DO will give a full breakdown of this in his report and there are plenty more dives scheduled with most places booked.
