1 Adding to the mystery is the fact that our civil calendar may be erroneous and not the same as God’s calendar. Our date of 2000 may be off by a few years. Therefore, we cannot “fix dates. ” The end of the current biblical millennium, with its implications, may actually occur differently than what the world expects. TTT HHH EEE FFF UUU TTT UUU RRR EEE DDD III VVV III NNN EEE SSS CCC HHH EEE DDD UUU LLL EEE The modern miracle of the restoration of Israel, although mostly in unbelief, is but the prelude of even more climactic developments. A brief outline of the events the Lord has revealed in the Bible is as follows: -The Rapture of the true Church, our Blessed Hope -The War of Gog and Magog -Antichrist’s Contract with Israel (7Year Tribulation) -The Abomination of Desolation (the antichrist desolating the rebuilt temple -The War of Armageddon -The Salvation of Israel & Judgment of the Nations -The Millennial Reign of Christ -The Great White Throne Judgment -The New Heaven, New Earth and New Jerusalem BBB YYY PPP AAA UUU LLL EEE YYY LLL EEE RRR About ¼ of the Bible is made up of prophecy - events predicted before they happen! No other religious book in the world even attempts to foretell the future like that of the Bible. Yet, the Bible does provide clear, detailed and amazing prophecies about the future and the end of the age. If these prophecies are indeed accurate, then there is proof positive that this book deals in a realm well beyond our understanding. To give sense of what I’m talking about, try to imagine 2000 yrs into the future. Well, you can’t. You have no frame of reference to even begin to imagine that world. Now place yourself into the position of the Old and New Testament prophets like Daniel, Ezekiel, and St. John. This time, God gives you visions of the end-times which are occurring today. With the mindset of sheep and stone tools, the only way to describe what you see is to draw upon prior knowledge and symbolism. That is why it is difficult at times to understand the book of Revelation and some of Daniel’s and Ezekiel’s visions. But the question we still need to ask is, “How could someone from that time and that frame of reference have possibly seen into our world?” Through all of our modern day scientific knowledge we cannot possibly explain how such a thing could be possible. And, nowhere else in the world does any book contain detailed prophecies like those of the Bible. Remember, God says He will prove the Bible is a message from Him by the fact that He can tell us history before it happens (Isaiah 46:9-11). So, let’s start with our world today. It is safe to say that there is more prophecy about the day we live in than in any other time in human history! So, we have an opportunity to judge the accuracy of these prophecies that span thousands of years. Finally, if these prophecies are indeed being fulfilled right before our eyes, then the message that they contain is a staggering one: we are living in the last days before the second coming of Jesus Christ to this earth. EEEVVVIIIDDDEEENNNCCCEEE FFFOOORRR CCCHHHRRRIIISSSTTT’’’SSS SSSOOOOOONNN RRREEETTTUUURRRNNN Bible prophecy fulfillment is rushing to a climax which there is no denying. Throughout history, according to researchers, both Christian and Jewish writers looked to this very time—not to the year A. D. 1000, or A. D. 3000, or A. D. 4000 or any other time—but to A. D. 2000, as the most eventful time in all history. If they were alive today, they would undoubtedly be ecstatic with anticipation. Should we? Did they know something we have overlooked, or dismissed too lightly? Consider the following evidence: • Evidence for Christ’s Soon Return • The Rapture vs. The Second Coming • Approximate Order of Events • Awaiting His Return - Scripture Reference • Israel: The Center of Divine History • Israel, Ezekiel War, Summary of Events
