Thirty nine voluntary community groups are set to benefit
from grant funding of £229,085.
Despite budget pressures the Council’s Community Grant Scheme will continue to help voluntary and community groups whose services are
available to Sevenoaks District residents.
Thirty six local voluntary groups across the District will share between £100 and £21,300.
A variety of groups in Swanley and the northern
parishes will benefit including the following:
* Swanley and District Volunteer Centre will receive
£9,600 to develop and promote volunteering through the
recruitment, placement and support of volunteers.
* HAWK Youth Partnership Project who will get £8000
to work with young people in Hartley, Ash and WestKingsdown.
* North West Kent Council for Voluntary Service will
receive £1000 to provide information and support to voluntary groups in Swanley and the northern parishes.
