Bristol’s open top bus service will display the City of
Bristol coat of arms this summer in recognition of the
vital contribution it makes to the City’s tourism.
The City Sightseeing
Service, now in its
16th season,
introduces around
18,000 passengers
every year to Bristol’s
important landmarks.
The service is run by
Warwick Hulme from
Rubicon Classic
Travel and has
historically enjoyed
close links with
Bristol’s Lord Mayors
– last year the
retiring Lord Mayor,
Cllr Royston Griffey,
became an
‘open top’ guide for the day and the present Lord Mayor,
Cllr Christopher Davies, presented certificates to all the guides.
Last summer the City Sightseeing service was also presented with
the coveted VAQAS (Visitor Accreditation) in recognition of the
careful planning and anticipation of visitors at all levels.
“Permission to include the coat of arms on our buses is a
tremendous honour and reflects the efforts made by all our team,”
says Warwick Hulme.
