Manufacturing Construction Spending Forecast to Drop Until 2012
Manufacturing Construction Spending Expected to Significantly Decrease Before
Staging a Comeback in 2012 -- Stickweld.
com opens Welding Jobs Forum in Order to
Assist Unemployed Welders and Metalworkers
Philadelphia, PA, November 03, 2009 -- Recent forecasts suggest that manufacturing
construction spending will experience a severe decline over the next two years
before staging a comeback in 2012.
To those in the industrial construction sector,
specifically the welding and metalworking trades, the news is bleak.
Already
limited employment opportunities in the industrial skilled trades will become even
more scarce as spending is forecast to drop by over 41% in 2010, and another 12% in
2011.
In order to help welding tradesman, Stickweld.
com has implemented a free
welding jobs forum
Seeking to fill an underserved need brought about by job losses due to the current
the recession, Stickweld.
com has added a welding forum that includes targeted
sections devoted to welding jobs and employment.
This new forum is intended to aid
professional welders, job recruiters, job seekers, and others interested in welding
and the metalworking trades.
One of the primary goals is to help people in the
welding and metalworking trades find employment during these difficult times.
The welding jobs section has two parts.
The first is a continuously updated list
of currently available welding jobs throughout the United States.
The second is an
employment section where anyone seeking employment can post their resume or contact
details, thus increasing visibility to potential recruiters and employers.
The forum also has a welding classifieds section.
The purpose of this is to
provided a marketplace that allows users to buy and sell welders, welding
equipment, metalworking and metal fabrication equipment, surplus parts, and repair
parts for obsolete equipment.
Posting classified ads in this section is completely
free and only requires registration.
When asked about the benefits, website owner J.
R.
Thompson said,"By leveraging
Stickweld.
com s unique market niche, classified ads posted here will provide more
focused targeting towards interested buyers and sellers than mainstream classifieds
sites could provide.
Visitors to the site are looking specifically for welding
employment and equipment unlike the larger more mainstream classifieds sites such
as Craigslist.
Since posting ads is free, it s also easy to see the advantages
versus a larger online auction site that requires payment.
"
In addition to the aforementioned sections, there are also specific sections
devoted to each of the major welding manufacturers, along with general welding
information sections where users can ask questions and receive helpful replies from
a wide variety of knowledgeable users.
In true community fashion, all users are
encouraged to ask and answer questions.
http://stickweld.
com is a welding information website dedicated to providing
information, education, and a welding products and jobs marketplace to those
interested in the welding and metalworking fields.
