take young Ghanaian-British supermodel Amanda Annan as an example.
Picked up at the
age of 16, her modelling career took off incredibly quickly.
Before she knew it,
she had all kinds of assignments and job offers on the table.
?Typically, when young people dream of becoming a model they are attracted by all
the glitz and glamour they imagine comes with the job,? says Damien O Connor,
Managing Director of Models Direct.
?Often they don t realise that working as a
model can be very demanding, or that it opens up many work opportunities beyond the
modelling and fashion industries.
