Free marketing resource offers alternative to getting free small business advice
from family.
Bristol, UK June 26, 2009 -- A new research finding that small business owners are
turning to their Dads for advice on how to cope with the recession demonstrates
just how much business owners need a free, open exchange of business ideas in the
current climate, says Mick Dickinson of Marketing Donut.
A new survey by Royal Mail found that just over a quarter of small business owners
(27 percent) had asked their fathers for guidance during the downturn, seeking
advice in areas such as growing the business, diversifying into new areas and
marketing.
?With nine out of ten rating the advice as positive, there?s clearly something very
positive going on there,? says Dickinson.
?But I hope business owners are also
aware that it?s possible to get professional advice on these kind of issues at no
