A Semester of Growth
It has occurred to me over the past semester that I am not at all the same person I was entering
college just three and a half years ago, now that may seem obvious given the difference between
a eighteen year old and a twenty-one year old but I am not simply referring to the fact that I have
aged.
Most if not all people change, in fact, change is inevitable, and often it isn’t something that a
person can be aware of, at least when it’s the change of a person and their personality traits.
I am
not claiming to have acknowledged the change in myself as it occurred, because that would be a
lie, but I have noticed it now, and had become more aware of it after it occurred.
Other people
notice change in you as well and that is precisely the reason that you keep friends and loose
others, and lose touch with some and are often perplexed by the idea that you and some other
person used to share so much in common.
The truth of the matter is that change happens as you
grow
