Auditions for the CAST production: Talking
With opening in October at the Columbia
Center for the Arts will be held June 14th at
1:00 pm, 15 and 16 at 6:30 pm at Columbia
Arts, 215 Cascade Ave.
Hood River.
Rehearsals will begin at the end of July with the play
opening on October 8.

Martin is a study of love, loneliness and obsession mixed liberally with humor.
Monologues by eleven different women run the
gamut from a young “stressed out” auditioning actress, through a woman in her thirties
who’s recently lost her mother, to an elderly
lady who aspires to live in a McDonald’s restaurant.
These quick but potent studies are of
women who have bought into the American
Dream and now find themselves set apart
from it, who all feel ostracized to some degree.
A wide range of roles are available for
women ages 16 to 75 years of age.
