BaniagaStudent Requirements
Students are required to be juniors or seniors and
pass a technology proficiency test and interview
with the instructor.
Assignments
Assignments consist mainly of reading, wriJng,
and various media projects.
“Tweets” will
indicate reading progression while blog posts will
evidence analysis and quality composiJon.
Media
projects will encapsulate the ePorOolio aspects of
each novel and author covered.

Late work will not be accepted, but emergencies
will be dealt with accordingly.
CheaJng will not
be tolerated, and all work should follow proper
MLA format and adhere to copyright law.
CollaboraJon is not only important online, but
will also be necessary in person by aYending a
monthly coffee shop session or arranging an
individual appointment.

Course Description
Honors English will cover classical literature while emphasizing a complimentary focus on
21st century skills.
Throughout the course, students will pursue critical thinking and
problem solving skills in a collaborative environment that promotes life long learning.
Creativity and design will also play vital roles through varied media projects that
encourage information and technology literacy.
