1 – RECRUITING* IN SEPTEMBER :

2 – IDENTI-CALL W/BELL :
Bell has a feature called “Identi-call”, which allows
you to have a second phone line plugged directly into
your home phone with your existing service.
Some
leadership reps are considering adding this to their
business, with AVON as the last 4 digits in their
phone number (makes it easy for people to notice and
remember).
If you wish to test your area code and
exchange + AVON (2866), please do so.
If the # is
not in service and is currently available, you can then
add this Identi-call to your home phone.
The cost for
this extra service is approximately $5.
00 / month.
Calls to this number will ring with its own distinctive
ring.
Contact your service provider for more info.
We don’t have any information on whether Rogers
also provides this service; please feel free to contact
them if this is your alternate service provider.
3 – CUSTOMER ORDER PAYMENT OPTIONS :
Sometimes it’s difficult to connect with customers
who lead busy lives, work during the day, work shift
work, etc.
Here are some easy tips on how you can
“train” your customers to pay their Avon orders on
time and make deliveries run more smoothly.
1.
Payment by cash or cheque : some
customers don’t have a problem leaving
payment in their mailbox (or between 2
doors) for you to pick up.
You can then
simply leave their order there for them.
2.
Email transfer : customers who use
online banking can use this feature to email
you the payment (this is done through their
online bank account).
There is usually a
minimal fee of $1.
50 to use this service.
3.
Pay directly into your bank
account : if you provide your customer(s)
with your bank account # plus transit
number for your bank, customers can set
you up as one of their “payees” and deposit
their payment directly into your bank
account at their convenience.
With a
confirmation # provided to you, you can
then deliver their order.
4.
Pay directly into your Avon
account : with your Avon bank account #
(12 digits), which is the same # you use for
your Avon banking, customers can deposit
money directly into your Avon account as a
credit.
Again, with a confirmation #
provided, you then know that a payment has
in fact been made, and proceed to deliver the
order.
(I use option #4 for my family in Manitoba.
I ship
the box of orders, then provide totals by email to
my customers there; they in turn submit their
Wildfire Minutes, Tues.
