travel is still alive and well in South Africa.
The train is the epitome of luxury,
having handsome wood paneling and Edwardian period features.
The suites are air
conditioned and designed for two passengers either with two twin beds in the suite
or a large double bed.
The in suite bathrooms combine modern features with original
fittings to provide hot showers, shaver plugs, and hair dryers.
Royal suites occupy half a carriage each.
Each has its own private lounge area and
a full Victorian bath, with separate shower.
Deluxe suites have their own lounge
area and a full bath with a shower.
The Pullman suites include a comfortable sofaseat during the day with a conversion to one double or two twin beds in the
evening.
These also have an in suite bathroom with shower.
All are equipped with a
writing surface and a personal safe for the storage of valuables.
