Affidavit Filed Against County JP
The father of two children has filed an affidavit
against Calhoun County
Quorum Court JP Odell
Nash.
Though the information is public record, this
newspaper is not releasing
the names of the father or the
children.
The affidavit stems
from an incident that occurred over the weekend and
has resulted in Nash being
charged with disorderly conduct and harassment.
According to the affadvait, two girls were staying
at their grandmother’s home
and had been riding their bicycles to a neighbor’s house
when they saw Nash and he
spoke to them.
The report goes on to
say that “a little while later
they came back through riding a four-wheeler” when
“Nash stopped them and
wanted to know if he could
ride with them then grabbed
my daughter’s shirt and tried
to pull it up.
”
The children left and
went inside at the neighbor’s
house.
