First, you had to let the hot water run a bit
before it got hot enough.
But you didn’t want to run it too long, because our hot water tank was little
and it would run out of water quickly, and you’d suddenly get cold water blasting you.
But that was
better than getting burned because someone would flush the toilet when you were in the shower.
I checked around for a solution, and the best one I found was to purchase an electric shower.
I’d never even heard of an electric shower.
At first I thought maybe it was some kind of capital
punishment for people who wanted to go out clean bathroom accessories.
But no, it turned out to be an
on-demand hot water heater for showers.
Cool, eh?
Actually, it can be whatever temperature you want, because it’s thermostatically controlled.
