Mide 12 metros por 7. 6 metros. Se entra en ella por dos escaleras laterales de 15 peldaños, construidos en la espesura de los muros. El centro, de losas de piedra, de 4. 2 m por 3. 8 m, sobresale un poco respecto al resto del suelo tambièn de piedra. Cuatro columnas de màrmol formando un doselete le rodean. Aquèi es donde se encontraba la tumba de St Girons, objeto de culto y vénéraciòn de numerosos peregrinos. Elementos de piedra completan esas comumnas de marmòl para sostener capiteles ricamente esculpidos de donde arrancan bòvedas ojivales. La base de las columnas tiene distintos elementos decorativos, bolas, etc. Alrededor de la cripta un banco de piedra de unos 50 cm de alto està pegada al muro. Sirve de lugar de meditaciòn, de oraciòn y de descanso para los peregrinos. El banco sirve tambièn de base a diez columnas de piedras engastadas en el muro del edificio y coronadas pour capiteles. Sie ist 12 Meter auf 7,6 Meter groß. Man kann sie erreichen durch 2 Seitentreppen von 15 Stufen die in den Mauern gebaut werden. Die Mitte aus Steinfliesen, 4,2 Meter auf 3,8 Meter breit die etwas höher ist. Sie wird an den 4 Ecken von Marmorsäulen umzingelt. Hier befand sich von das Saint-Girons Grabmal, Kult und Verehrungs gegenstand von vielen Pilgern. Stein elemente vervollstärdigen diese Marborschäfte, um reichlich geschnitzte Kapitelle zu unterstützen. Die Basis der Säule zeigt verschiedene dekorative Elemente. Rundherum um die Krypta, steht eine Steinbank, die 50 cm hoch ist, ein Lieblingsort zum Beten oder sich ausruhen. Die Bank von Steinsäulen, die in die Bauwerkes des Mauer dient auch als Basis eingefügt sind. , und von Kapitellen überragt wurden. Man kann in der Mitte der Apsis eine Grabnische bemerken.
