2 – SELL / QUIT AVON?
Why do people start selling Avon? Primarily, it is
because they love the product, and you also get a
discount.
Why do people quit? The #1 reason is frustration on
getting started, as well as spending their profits and
going into debt unintentionally.
If you are in it to make money, the first thing you
must do is practice self-control! Put yourself on a
budget if you order for yourself.
Regarding bundles
from your What’s New : be cautious! Unless you
know you will be able to sell the product(s), it is not
recommended that you spend on those right away.
If
you do order them, at least try to make your money
back on them (your cost) to break even, if nothing
else.
3 – BACKORDERING :
We are all aware that when you place your regular
order, you are entitled to backorder 2 campaigns along
with the current campaign/brochure.
With the new
website recently launched, you can now also
backorder 2 campaigns on an additional order.
If you
are backordering to get a better price, make sure you
change the campaign # in the dropdown menu beside
the product # on your online purchase order,
otherwise you will pay current brochure price,
regardless of whether it is a higher price or not.
4 – YOUR “WHAT’S NEW” :
“What’s New” is your demo flyer.
Please read all
ordering instructions, especially the information on
how to order your Mark magalogs and available
Expressions catalogs.
Unless a particular product,
bundle, etc.
, specifies “NO LIMITS”, you are entitled
to only ONE demo per product (ie.
if there are
multiple lipstick colours, you can only order one
shade; 2 different coloured tops, you can only order
one or the other, not both, etc.
).
New reps sometimes question why they did not
receive a certain product from their What’s New.
It is
usually because they ordered more than one of a
particular demo, or they ordered from the wrong one.
PC (President’s Club) members are entitled to order
from 2 What’s New flyers as a perk.
All other reps
can only order from the current What’s New.
For
example, if you are placing your C22 order, you are
ordering demos from What’s New 24, with your C23
order, from What’s New 25, etc.
Therefore, you are
ordering your demos 2 campaigns ahead to give you
enough time to show them to customers and get
potential sales when the regular brochure is out.
Bundles do not have a limit; you can order as many as
you like (only when that page specifies NO LIMITS).
These bundles are NOT considered demos and cannot
be written off for income tax purposes.
5 - # OF FLYERS SHIPPED?
New reps : After being with Avon for a minimum of
10 campaigns, you will automatically receive 1 flyer
(ie.
Outlet, Beauty, NHL, etc.
) per brochure ordered.
Therefore, if you order 1 pack of brochures (10), you
will then receive 10 flyers to go with them.
Mark
magalogs are shipped at 1 copy per 2 brochures
ordered; you then have to order the second half
needed (if applicable).
