Three Ways to Comply The Board chose Prong 1 because JMU did not have a history of “expanding opportunities. ” JMU had added two women’s varsity teams since 1990. All residence halls have a swipe system for JACards that work only for that building’s residents. Some halls, such as those in the Village, also have a swipe system for sections and key codes at suite doors. Yet dozens of students told Breeze reporters Friday they have let someone into their building without knowing whether or not the person is a resident; many guessed that it happens multiple times every day. “Anyonecan ndawayinthedorm. By KATIE THISDELL The Breeze The -year-old Harrisonburg resident who died Monday was a Virginia Tech student. Robert Allan Stieber died after falling from the roof of the six-story parking deck at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. His funeral mass is today at a. m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Harrisonburg. A wake for him was held Wednesday at the Kyger Funeral Home. Stieber’s death is still under investigation until the medical examiner releases a report, according to Harrisonburg Police. Police responded to a call from an RMH employee Monday at : a. m. saying someone had fallen from the parking deck. Debra ompson, spokeswoman for RMH, said two employees were immediately on the scene, and Stieber then died in the emergency room. She could not say if he fell or jumped from the deck. Stieber was majoring in mining and minerals engineering at Virginia Tech. In March, he was a member of the university’s team that won rst place at a national competition for engineerin
